You kind of asked these questions in reverse order I think, but I will answer them in that same order. 1.) The 555s or 740s are fine for any mod level, as that is the max they flow, not an indictor of their constant flow rate. If you had 740s and the rest of your Z was stock you would just never hit maximum duty cycle of the injectors. I would look at the horse power and boost (boost including Nitrous, if you are going that route) you are looking to attain. This will determine the head room you need out of the injectors. But, me personally I would look at which injectors of the two have a better maintence record. I have been having terrible luck w/ my 555s lately. They keep going bad. But, you have a 95 so I believe those are pintleless which are supposed to be better than my 93, but don't quote me on that. Research it and see. 2.)If you have an upgraded ECU, it should have a sticker on the outside that says what program it is running. If not on the outside then open it up and look at the actual eprom and see if there is a sticker on it. If there is no sticker and your eprom is soldered in and not socketed, then it is most likely the stock chip (IE 370 injectors.) You can also do search on the color of the injector tops. Then you may be able to tell by looking at the tops of the injectors as to which ones they are. hope this helps.
